Welcome to an Uptown engagement session that captures the energy and excitement of the Cities and the nearby natural beauty of Minnehaha’s Off-Leash Dog Park! On a particularly beautiful summer day, we got to go adventuring with adorable couple Bre and James along the Mississippi River with their pup Harvey and explored their favorite spots in Uptown. It was a session to remember, and we can’t wait to share it with you!

Bre and James’s pup Harvey was a show-stealing cutie pie with lots of energy for dog parking it up and still pawsing perfectly for photo ops!
We love dogs and are always excited to include furry friends in our couples’ engagement sessions! Plus, there are lots of ways to do it stress-free for you and your pets – in fact, we have a whole blog with tips 🙂
One of our favorite tips is to enlist the help of a friend or family member to be on pet-patrol – keeping your pet safe and looked after between shots or when we head to other locations. If you don’t have a friend and relative handy, you can always enlist the help of Doggy Social, a Minneapolis-based pet care and support service for all types of events, including all things weddings!

After adventuring through the woods and riverside, we took a stop off for lunch at Barbette’s, one of Bre and James’s favorite spots.

We headed out into the streets of Uptown soon after our rooftop excursion. Bre and James were brimming with energy for the next leg of their adventure!
