Join us for a walk in the woods for Kelly and Dan’s Wildwood Park engagement session. These two lovebirds are “two peas in a pod (a really silly, punny, awesome pod)as Kelly describes them! They’re not afraid to get their feet wet, love playing with their little Loki dog (a scene-stealer, just you wait and see), and are fun as can be.

The super cute story of their very own meet-cute:Dan and Kelly met as temps at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in Minneapolis September of 2011. Kelly had been working at a restaurant and needed a change, and Dan had just finished Law School.  Several of the temps would have lunch together, go to happy hours, and have each other over for game nights, Dan and Kelly included.  It didn’t take long for them to realize that they had a special connection – their humor, wit and banter was unmatched with anyone else’s.”

In the fall of 2014, Kelly realized that she needed more Dan in her life.  After emailing, Facebooking and texting Dan (several times), the two met up for “awkward tea” at The People’s Organic.  That went well and it was decided that they’d attempt a less-awkward date on Saturday November 1, 2014 at 5pm.

Their meet-cute continues: Now, Halloween was the night before and both had been out ‘trick or treating’ rather late. Come mid-day, 5pm was moved to 6pm to give Dan more recovery time and Kelly a chance to finishing cutting feathers out of her hair (costume=owl).  The two met at Northbound Smokehouse Brewpub for dinner and drinks, sharing stories and laughs, and ending the night with an awkward forehead/cheek kiss (we really did try to lessen the awkwardness this time).  Kelly remembers the butterflies like it was yesterday!”
