We. are. so. excited! To share with you Laura and Jennifer’s park engagement session – a romantic, colorful, pup-filled adventure that bursts with joy. We offer you a personal challenge not to fall in love with their cutie pie puppies or get giddy over Jennifer and Laura’s adorable proposal story!

In Laura’s own words:

“We planned to get engaged on a trip up north in mid-April and also hoped to see some new state parks (we are trying to go to all of them and recently hit 31!) Mother nature had another plan as we had an epic April blizzard with over 20” of snow. We left work early intending to beat the storm and go to Glacial Lakes State Park to get engaged where we spent our first night together (camping!)

However, the weather did not allow us to venture out so we hunkered down at our Airbnb in Upsala, MN with the two pups (pre Elmer Fudd). We fully intended to get engaged on tax day however Jen was just too damn impatient – what was 2 more days after 4 years anyways 😛

So I told her if I beat her in a game of cribbage she could propose. Jen has a family history of cribbage and I only took it up when we started dating so the cards were stacked against her.

By a stroke of luck or divine intervention I won so Jen got her wish. She started to kneel down but I was worried for her knee so she grabbed a pillow.

After Jen proposed I followed suit. Despite it not being April 15th, Friday the 13th was still a good day for us!”
