Summer summer summer! In the words of the great Henry James: “Summer afternoon, summer afternoon; to me, those have always been the two most beautiful words in the English language.” Marissa and Kyle’s Duluth summer engagement session encapsulated the brilliance of our favorite season and we’re so excited to share their shots with you!
Let’s set the scene with Marissa’s retelling of their romantic proposal story:
“Kyle’s brother Tim and his sister-in-law Denielle (our best friends) were coming up for a weekend in Duluth. Kyle decided we were going to go take the dogs for a hike at Enger Tower to show Tim and Den one of our favorites spots in Duluth.
We got to the top of the lookout point which literally captures the beauty of the entire city and he gives me a huge hug, whispers sweet things into my ear, then gets down on one knee.
It was the most magical and breathtaking moment of [my] life (oh and also really scary because it was so windy I thought we were going to blow off the cliff, typical Duluth day).”
Lola and Lucy were so excited to join their favorite humans on their adventure! Marissa is a runner who keeps these pups on their toes, so they had tons of happy energy 🙂
We love it when our clients include their furry friends in their engagement sessions and even their big days!
One of our favorite parts of a Duluth summer engagement session is capturing our couples in the epic beauty of Lake Superior.
Marissa and Kyle weren’t afraid to get their feet wet and lean in which lead to some of our favorite shots of the day!
