Ah, June in the Cities! Summer is finally in full swing, and in honor of their favorite season (and ours!), today we are super pumped to share with you Kaleigh and Cory’s Calhoun Beach Club wedding. These two summer-loving adventurers tied the knot at the beautiful Uptown venue Calhoun Beach Club – think grand staircase, tons of natural light, elegance – and shared their vows in front of all their family and friends!

But before we dive into their big day, we insist on setting the mood by sharing their super sweet proposal story in Kaleigh’s own words 🙂

“The proposal was amazing!  Cory and I went to Colorado in September and we were hiking in Estes Park and we stopped to soak up the gorgeous scenery. Little did I know he was planning to pop the question at that time! Cory read off this adorable speech and I turned to blubber. It was a little challenging for him to get down on one knee given the fact that we were on a giant lumpy rock, but he did his best and tried getting down on his knee and asked me to marry him. To end the day we saw Rascal Flatts at Red Rocks Amphitheater – definitely a day that both of us will remember forever!”

We love documenting those getting-ready hours before a wedding! There are so many little details and special moments to capture. Like the mother of the bride’s sweet face as she watches her daughter prepare for her wedding day <3

One of the perks of a Calhoun Beach Club wedding – making a killer entrance on their stunning grand staircase!

One of our favorite aesthetics of a Calhoun Beach Club wedding is the early 20th century architecture! Like this stone and red brick balcony where we got to capture the happy couple!

Cory and Kaleigh are nailing one of our favorite poses – the Dip!

After some exceptionally emotional speeches, Cory and Kaleigh stood up and gave one of their own. Cory thanked Kaleigh’s parents for raising his best friend. It was one of the sweetest moments we’ve seen at a wedding!

Kaleigh on their first date: “I was on cloud 9 walking out of the restaurant! […] I can’t believe it’s been over two years with him and I truly can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with my best friend.”
