Forget the stigma of a courthouse wedding. You and your partner can get married in a courthouse just as romantically as efficiently as you want. Aj and Patty are fantastic proof that weddings can, and should, be about you and your favorite person getting hitched together. Plus, having a handful of friends and family around are a serious bonus.
I’ve always mentioned how much Earl and I adore small and intimate weddings or elopements, but a courthouse wedding goes one step simpler and still comes out looking fantastic.
Aj and Patty were one of those wedding couples who fell victim of 2020 wedding season. So, while they still have plans for a full on reception in 2022, they wanted to be married and get on with their lives, like so many 2020 wedding couples have decided. Thus, when they told us they were having a bonus wedding, we were totally for it. We already fell in love with these two during their awesome adventure-engagement session and were super stoked to see them get married on their own terms. All in all, they totally rocked their courthouse wedding.
So if you’re contemplating a courthouse wedding, go ahead and wear a fancy dress/shirt, invite those favorite people/witnesses and just do the damn thing. There can still be a ton of love, sweet words and epic photos. We even managed to sneak off to the side of the building in a garden-type area for some family formals to mark the occasion.
