If you’re in Texas and engaged, you might as well take a trip down town to San Antonio and create some awesome Riverwalk engagement photos. Well, this is just the bright idea Meghan and Grant had as they were visiting the South. To the locals, the Riverwalk might be old-hat and too full of tourist; however, as a Texan you have to remember that even though you’ve been to the riverwalk many times, it still holds magic and awe. Even Trip advisor knows that if you’re in Texas, the Riverwalk is a must!

So as a local, Earl and I gave a tour of our city while on this adventure session and took some memorable riverwalk engagement photos, had some amazing margaritas, and got to show off the sights.

The beauty of shooting on a weekday was that we essentially had the place to ourselves, with the touch of the occasional passerby to add some local flavor to the photojournalist style photos.

So, even if you’ve been to your city’s famous places numerous times, I highly encourage you to go again and see it as a tourist with new eyes and energy.
