Is it Fall is it Winter? Who knows! That’s the beauty of Minnesota Octobers. 

For Amanda and Dan, they had the benefit of fall and winter smooshed into one day for their wedding! Snow and falling leaves decorated the grounds at this North Star Event Center wedding. Contrasting the cold colors of winter with the warm colors of Autumn. The day itself was even completed with yet another epic sunset courtesy of both Amanda and Dan’s fathers who had passed away.

Hand warmers, gloves, and scarves in place, the couple romped in the snow in their cowboy boots throughout the day and showed off their easy-going attitude and immense smiles. Friends and family braved the weather also to show their support and make sure Amanda and Dan felt all the warm wishes for their chilly outdoor ceremony. 

All in all, the weather might have been unpredictable but none of that really mattered when the only expectation for a wedding is to be married by the end of the day. Luckily this adoring couple checked that box and through all of the craziness, were able to say their, “I sure as hell do’s”

So cheers to them both!

Tell us your story! How did you meet? Who asked who out?

We met years ago playing softball. Became the best of friends and confidants. Then years later after figuring out our lives a bit more. Decided why not give it a shot.

How did the proposal go?

Dan got the whole family in on it. there is a yearly family party that takes place and decided to pop the question on that day. other couples were taking pictures and pulled Amanda up to take a photo with Dan and in the midst of the photo the family lined up in order and unzipped there hoodies and the T-shirts they exposed revealed the question of WILL YOU MARRY and Dan had on the ME?. still to this day Amanda isn’t even sure she said yes but excepted the ring!
