We loved the shots we get to catch before weddings – friends and family relaxing together, doing some last minute prep, getting ready, and sharing special and emotional moments.

After their first look, we got some lovely shots of the couple, family, and friends against the backdrop of their family cabin. 

They fit together perfectly 🙂 

A Madeline Island Wedding isn’t complete without a shot of best friends on the lake! 

A little friend wished the happy couple congrats on our walk back from the dock! 

An unexpected rain shower drove the ceremony indoors to the cozy cabin living room, creating a lovely and intimate affair with family and friends!

We were lucky enough to capture the beaming bride and the emotional faces of those around her. 

With the ceremony complete, it was time to head down to the reception and start the party! 

A trusty guide was all-paws-on-deck to lead Andrea down the walkway! 

Speeches find a way to bring out the strongest emotions! 

We snuck off with Andrea and Joseph to take advantage of the natural splendor of their Madeline Island wedding – catching the forest greens of the tree line against the big, beautiful Wisconsin sky. 

Then Andrea and Joseph gave us a rendition of their first dance on the shore, with Lake Superior as their crystal clear backdrop! 

Here Joseph demonstrates a perfectly executed deep dip of his lovely bride – the pinnacle of first dance class!
