Allie and Mike’s Harriet Island engagement session was a fun flirt with Minnesota summer on the Mississippi riverbanks! These two were super fun to work with, and it’s no wonder! While clients often start off camera-shy, they always end up opening up and rocking their photoshoots. It’s one of my favorite inevitabilities 🙂
Harriet Island Regional Park offers great views of downtown St. Paul, riverside boardwalks, and a beautiful wedding-available pavilion. It’s also super close to a plethora of other awesome local parks like Peace Park, Lilydale Regional Park, and it’s only a fifteen minute drive to Fort Snelling State Park and neighboring Pike Island. That’s not even to mention the easy access to downtown St. Paul!
A perk to a Harriet Island engagement session? Getting your feet wet and playing in the river!
Harriet Island offers all sorts of river recreation – here, we caught the happy couple by the boat dock!
One of my favorite shots of the day – Peace Park, an immersive rock garden full of water and greenery.
