The Regency Venue Wedding with Lynn and Jeremy was filled with many stories and an abundance of inside jokes.

We tell people that our favorite part of weddings is the short stories going on within the bigger wedding day story. Well, for Jeremy and Lynn their day featured many.

The day was sunny with rain coming in and out so trying to get bride and bridesmaids back to the venue was the first interesting story of the day. Every time we would wander out of our over-pass hiding, the rain would start to come down forcing everyone to run and seek shelter. After a few times of this, the rain finally subsided and we were able to get back to the Regency hotel safe and dry.

Meanwhile the men were powering up with beers and laughs, awaiting their cue to start the wedding day chores of having fun and looking good.

The ceremony was short and sweet and involved the cutest bet between the groom and his mother. It was understood that Jeremy would never get married, so when the day actually came a bet was made that mom wouldn’t cry while walking her son down the isle. Jeremy took that bet, and I’m glad to say he won with ease as his mom cried tears of joy the whole day.

After the nuptials, the wedding party participated in a game called the beer run. This game had one beer, and one goal: RUN! We pitted all the groomsmen against each other, followed by all the ladies. Then the two winners of each team faced sudden beer run death. So incredibly fun to watch such determination from both sides.

The rest of the reception was nothing but joy and smiles! Dancing, cigars, and shots all around. The epitome of what makes a good party.
