Wedding season opener started with The Grands at Mulligans wedding with Blake and Joe.
Having met in their younger years, Blake and Joe have kept their sense of playfulness and joy with each other. When popping the question, Joe led Blake outside towards the perfect spot to ask when Blake said, “are you proposing or something?” to which Joe said, “Yep!” and got down on one knee.
Together these two run around MN enjoying the outdoors, especially in the summertime. However, when choosing the perfect wedding date, Blake wanted to keep her mother’s tradition alive and get married on her Grandparents anniversary in April. So three generations later, Nestled in Sartel, MN within The Grands at Mulligans all in one wedding venue, Blake and Joe got hitched.
The day was a cold April day but the sun was shining enough to play, which is all anyone coming out of winter can ask for.
The ceremony was indoor by the grand fireplace. It was quick, simple, and straight to the I do’s!
The couple had previously written and read letters to each other during the first look, sharing all the good and mushy words beforehand. Side note: this is the perfect idea if you dont want to read intimate vows in front of your guest. You can write letters and read them separately or to each-other during the first look before the ceremony.
Family and friends, beer and dancing carried on throughout the day making the wedding an absolute success.
