Sophie and Ali’s LGBTQ Barn wedding in Minneapolis was cozy and candid which is exactly what they wanted for their day.

These two adorable brides and best friends got married last weekend at Gale Woods Farm in Minnesota decked out in blankets and snuggles to offset the chilly winter vibes.

As photographers and experts in observation, I noticed that Ali was completely smitten by her bride Sophie from the first look and throughout the entire day. I noticed the subtle adoration when we were taking couple portraits and it was truly adorable hearing Ali talk about how “beautiful” her wife was. The feeling was returned by the ever sweet and shy Sophie who you could tell is absolutely enamored by her lively and colorful wifey.

I asked both ladies what they were most excited for, besides getting married, and they both said for the party of the day to start. Well, their family and friends all brought out their A-game and danced hard in celebration.

These two started off as friends back in High school tennis and 8 years later decided to level up and start dating. Two proposals and one adopted dog later, they said their vows, had an awesome LGBTQ Barn wedding, and were pronounced wife and wife!
