Nothing kicks off Summer wedding season like a stone arch bridge proposal on a holiday weekend in downtown Minneapolis!
Earl and I are privy to many proposal stories in our careers as wedding photographers, but sometimes we get the special privilege of helping plan and document them.
Such was the case of Sean and Mary this last July 4th holiday weekend at the Stone arch bridge. Much planning and thought goes into wedding proposals and it’s often times the beginning of the marriage story; there’s even a whole website dedicated to telling your proposal story called How They Asked.
Sean had planned a whole evening for his future fiance that started with a stroll down to the Stone Arch bridge area near the Mill city ruins, a quick proposal of marriage, followed by a stroll along the bridge to a horse and carriage ride by Nicollet island to dinner.
All the while, Earl and I got to grab some photos and document the beginning of a new chapter in their relationship. We are so happy we were tasked with such a cool job and wish nothing but the best for the newly engaged!
