In the Lower-town neighborhood of the city of Saint Paul, lies the historic Union Depot railroad. Last weekend, among all of the hustle and bustle of travel from Minnesotans, was the hustle and bustle of a wedding from Cassie and Aaron. This Union Depot wedding was historic meets romantic, with large open spaces, texture, and classic lighting.
The grandness of the halls made for a fantastic wedding venue that was filled with large games of chess, table tennis, and fabulous dance moves from the couple and all of their guests.
Although Luna and Odin, the two VIP’s, had to miss the wedding reception due to their four paws, they did get their own special first look with Cassie and Aaron further down at Raspberry island park. (Click here for tips on how to include your fur baby at weddings!)
Hiding from the rain, Odin and Luna bursting with love, gave their best well-wishes and kisses to the happy couple before running off to sniff the rest of the world.
Afterwards, we strolled around the Union Depot and toured the sights while striking poses. The rest of the day was easy, as Cassie and Aaron just had to get married at this point. The wedding they had planned was happening, the family and friends they wanted had arrived, and the day was made to be exactly as they had hoped for.
