On a cold day in Fall, the strong winds came in from the east and sparked a chill in the air at their Bearpath wedding. The excitement was high and everyone had been working hard in preparation for the main event. For this day was no ordinary day … This was the whimsical wedding of Bridget and Matthew. Roll for initiative!

Ok, honestly, I’m more of an observer than a true participant in the monumental game of Dungeons and Dragons but Matthew and Bridget absolutely slay at the game. Thus their wedding was the perfect pairing of whimsical and nerdy. Thanks to their family, companions, maids, and maidens, the Bearpath country club was transformed into a fantastical wedding realm best suited for their quest.

I really appreciated the bravery of this couple and their crew. The day was splendidly cold and brought along the ice and severe wind. Nevertheless, they bundled up their bravery and pressed on, outside ceremony and all! The whole day was filled with charming friends and family. The ceremony itself had multiple officiants including a dungeon master guiding them along, a handfasting ceremony, vows of unpromises, and beautiful druids. Honestly, if you have the opportunity, always include druids in your ceremony.  (Check out more ceremony ideas here)

Overall, the wedding was conquered and Bridget and Matthew live on continuing their journey through love, marriage, magic, and dragons.
