First off, Samantha and Chris’s wedding was the fifth wedding in a row where the couple included their fur-baby and I absolutely LOVED IT! I can not get enough kisses from the puppers at weddings and I don’t care who knows it. This wedding was brought to you by the adorable Lucy who not only is perfect but also knows how to dance and had been known to show off her skills during their engagement shoot and continued the tradition at her human’s wedding.
Sam and Chris decided to, “do the damn thing” at the ever-charming and pet-friendly Green Acres wedding venue in Eden Prairie Minnesota. Even though we’ve shot many weddings at the historic barn venue, everyone has its own charm, memories, and weather. The day was wind-tastic and did it’s best to keep everyone tucked inside but Sam and Chris ventured out with their friends and even reveled in the crazy weather and excitement of the day. The whole evening was decked out with belly laughs, adorable flower girl moments and epic dance moves.
My personal favorite memory of the night was when during the game of glass-clinky-shenanigans, the couple would call out certain couples to perform a kiss and they would mimic it. Well, Samantha put Earl and me in the spotlight and tapped us to perform, so perform we did. We did a pick-up spin around kiss move and to my delight, Sam and Chris executed it splendidly. All the weddings we’ve documented at the Green acres wedding venue have been awesome, and this one was no different.
