It’s no secret that we at Penny Photographics love dogs! In fact, we have three of our own 🙂 So anytime one of our awesome couples wants to bring along their pups for their engagement session, we get super excited! For Hannah and Bryan’s downtown engagement with dogs, they brought along adorable Scout and Bailey – show-stealers and cutie pies.
Now, having dogs in your engagement session may seem a little overwhelming at first – especially if your lovely pups are extra hyper or easily distracted – but by taking a few steps to prep for your furry friends, it can be a super easy and awesome experience.
The number one thing we recommend is having a pet-wrangler – for weddings or engagement sessions! This family member or friend can help keep an eye on your pets while you’re taking couples photos and can even take them safely home after their close-ups are over if need be. We also recommend taking your pups for a quick walk before the shoot if they are extra energetic, and bringing all their essentials – leashes and collars, treats and water – so they are just as comfortable as you 🙂
So let’s get a wag on and enjoy Hannah and Bryan’s downtown engagement with dogs!
Scout and Bailey were the cutest little goobers and we got some extra fun shots of the family all together for this downtown engagement with dogs!
After furry family photos, we headed out to the Mill City Ruins and the Stone Arch Bridge for some epic downtown Minneapolis shots with Hannah and Bryan!
These two cuties embraced the industrial lines of downtown Minneapolis for some really neat urban shots.
We hope you enjoyed Hannah and Bryan’s downtown engagement with dogs, and that you learned a few things about including your furry friends in your photo adventure!
