White’s Wildwood Retreat venue was the perfect scene for the wedding of two nature loving spirits like Katrina and Ryan
During the speeches, we heard from both sides of the couple that these two humans were always independent, loved to travel, would probably never get married. None the less, when you find a partner to travel the world with, explore nature, and to love, you do the damn thing and get hitched.
How’d the proposal go?
“We were in Iceland traveling in a camper van. We stopped a one of the waterfalls that you can walk behind and followed the path to a waterfall in cave with a big rock you can stand on. There were a few other people helping take pictures for each other so Ryan sneakily showed them the ring and asked them to video tape it. It was awesome!”
To incorporate the great outdoors, we traveled down the road a bit to Big Falls Eau Claire county park and caught some photos of these two in their natural element.
The day was filled with sunshine, shots, and smiles and and later a live band to enhance the party. Maybe they never wanted a big wedding, but they ended up having a great one anyways.
