Sara and Neal finally got their church ceremony and crown room wedding reception that they originally planned for last year!
This was our first sequel wedding from Covid wedding season and it was awesome. Although the the circumstances were unfortunate, Sara and Neal had the chance to have two completely different weddings.
Sara even leaned into the blending of weddings and had all of her bridesmaids wear her old bridesmaids dresses from their wedding. Luckily, they were all fantastic sports about it.
Their first wedding was a park wedding by a gazebo with few family guest, followed by a stroll to get some ice cream. (Check our their bonus wedding here.) Their second wedding was full church wedding with a full wedding party adventure, full blow dance party complete with bouquet toss and limbo!
The Crown room wedding reception was perfect for the type of reception Sara and Neal had long waited for. Spacious room, fantastic staff, and sat across from a wonderful field perfect for sunset. The area even had a tiny gazebo which was the absolute perfect throw back to their first wedding. It all tied together perfectly.
How Neal asked:
We went hiking in Banff, Canada. It was the last day for long hikes. On the way up the mountain we ran into one of Sara’s coworkers from TX we tried to convince the to do the same trail as us, but we ended up doing the trail alone. On the way up, we passed some smaller groups, as they were coming down. One couple told us to make sure we went to the very edge of the peak and look down, there we would be able to see the lakes at the different elevations that we had passed on the way up. When we got to the peak and looked down the view was breathtaking. After a small lunch of fruit and granola bars, Neal said he had brought something else from Houston with him. He hinted that it might be chocolate, from the freezer, but instead pulled out a box with a ring in it. At the top of Mount St. Piran, almost 3000 ft up, he asked Sara to marry him.
Thanks to the vendors!
