This hiking engagement session around northern Duluth, Minnesota was every outdoorsy couple’s dream adventure.

To explain the adorableness of these wanderlust fools in love, it’s best to read it from their own words:

Their first date was at Indeed Brewery in Northeast Minneapolis where Paul charmed Abbie with his quick- witted humor and sparkling blue eyes. On that night an older woman who had clearly over-indulged took it upon herself to join their private conversation and she revealed to Paul that Abbie was a perfect angel and that he should never let her go. We don’t know what ever became of this stranger but we’re thankful for her foresight – sometimes drunk people just know!

Alas, their love of cooking, games, and adventure solidified their romance.

When deciding how to best capture their life as it is now, they decided hiking and stone skipping was the way to go!

So, we packed it up and headed north to Duluth for their hiking engagement session adventure.

We journeyed through trees and over waterfalls, and back to the north shore for a stone skipping competition.

Although I wont divulge who won, they both did better than Earl which is all that really matters.

Afterwards, we finished our hike with another hike! This time we traveled to Jay Cooke. The terrain looked like we were traversing on another planet and Paul and Abbie continued to bring the cuteness like two aliens in love.

They could not have done a better job showcasing their amazing hiking and cuddle skills. So cheers to Abbie and Paul and the omniscient drunk lady who so perfectly predicted an amazing love story!
