Mary and John’s Summer Wedding was part DIY and all LUV

Mary’s parents’ house would be the setting for this summer wedding adventure, and while transforming a house into a venue is no easy job, it turned out perfectly!

With the boys in one part of the house and Mary in the other, we took this opportunity to capture all the beauty of the house-turned-DIY-venue!  Make sure to find the photos of the Maine Coon cats (Archie and Wiggins)! They’re huge and have turned Mary into a self-described “crazy cat lady”.

WHEN WE ASKED MARY TO RECALL THE BEGINNING OF THEIR LOVE STORY, THIS IS WHAT SHE HAD TO SAY:

“When we met, I scared him because I was way overly enthusiastic “Hey John!” As he was listening to music.”

Edit

Then it was out to the front yard for the ceremony in the midst of wonderful wildflowers!

When we asked how the proposal went down, here is what Mary had to say:

“We were biking, I was pissed because he said he had a flat tire but it was so obviously not flat, and he got down on a knee, sobbing and said “so you want to do this thing, love, or what?”

The perks of a summer wedding? Wildflowers!

Mary and John’s summer wedding was brimming with beautiful blossoms and the joy of their love 🙂

After the cocktail hour, it was time to cut a rug!

What was their favorite part of their wedding day you ask?

“Favorite part? Duh! Saying I do! Knowing we had everything before us”

I also want to make sure to give love to others that contributed to this wonderful wedding adventure :
