This was the first time we had the chance of photographing a Green Acres outdoor wedding and it was absolute magic. The sun was popping in and out all day but I’ll take blue skies and weather in the 70’s any chance I get.

Megan and Cody met on hinge and after the perfect first date they knew they had found the right person for one another. Then the pandemic hit, and they figured if they could move in together, go on lock down for a global pandemic and still like one another, it was probably a good sign.

During the best man’s speech we heard the real romance of their love story. Once upon a time, a boy from an android phone family fell in love with a girl of the iphone clan and through it all their love preserved until one day the boy showed everyone what love truly was an got himself his very own iphone so he could more easily text and share videos/photos with the girl. This might sound absurd as a qualifier of true love, but honestly it speaks volumes, especially if you’ve ever tried to convince a friend to make the switch. So I agreed with the best man and feel that these two lovers will live happily ever after.

This Green Acres outdoor wedding also had the benefit of including Megan and Cody’s fur-baby Luna. While she wasn’t up for the high pressures of participating in the ceremony, thanks to Doggy Social, she was able to make her debut after the couple’s first look and gave her doggie blessings.

Everything else from the day was just a blur of sunshine, happiness, and epic dance moves. So cheers to these two and their modern day fairy tale.
