Deb and Greg’s Raspberry Island engagement is a throwback to March when the sun was finally starting to show it’s beautiful face again! That transition period at the end of winter gets a lot of guff, but we think it’s the perfect time to celebrate the coming spring. Greg and Deb rocked it in their earthy tones, and they brought their pups along for family shots!
A Raspberry Island engagement is the perfect locale if you’re looking to combine city skylines with a lovely day out at the park. It’s located on a tiny island in the crook of the Mississippi River, right along the downtown St. Paul shoreline, and boasts beautiful landscaping with fresh blooms in the spring, walking paths, and new-planted trees. It’s also perfectly located for multi-spot engagement adventures! You can explore downtown St. Paul or get into nature at the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area.
One of our favorites perks to a Raspberry Island engagement? Gorgeous shots of the St. Paul skyline!
These two were so cute together, and we loved the way Deb’s outfit popped in the umber grasses!
A Raspberry Island engagement is also dog-friendly, as are we!
In fact, we love it when our couples bring their pups along 🙂 For more engagement pups check out: Bre and James’s dog park and Uptown engagement, or Hannah and Bryan, Tessa and Chris, and Sandra and Nick!
It was such a lovely day with these beautiful humans and their two adorable dogs, and I’m so grateful I got to shoot their Raspberry Island engagement. Best of luck and many happy returns to the happy couple!
