One of our favorite wedding superstitions? That a rainy wedding brings good luck 🙂 This is especially lucky for Matt and Angie!
While the idea of an unexpected deluge on your wedding might not sound great at first – we’re talking hair, make up, a year’s worth of plans getting soggy – we’re here to convince you otherwise! Matt and Angie rolled with their rainstorm, and because of that, they got extra special wedding memories and some amazing rain-tinged shots to boot!

The day started with an adorable first look in the greenery of a park near Matt and Angie’s ceremony venue. They had the chance to see each other for the first time on their big day and dance out the jitters!

Angie and Matt said their vows before family and friends in beautiful St. Augustine’s Catholic Church.
Then everyone headed out to Lake Monster Brewing for the reception!
It was right about now that the downpour started! Matt and Angie embraced their rainy wedding in these awesome rain-slicked photos.
