Winter was a great time to escape to Fredericksburg TX for this Contigo ranch wedding with Lizzy and Miguel.
A winter wedding in Fredericksburg are something truly special. The crisp air, the natural beauty of the area, and the slower pace of the season create a serene atmosphere that makes every detail feel even more meaningful and not to worry, the Texas sun was still alive and alert throughout the day. Lizzy and Miguel’s wedding was a testament to all of this — a day filled with love, laughter, and breathtaking moments.
The couple had a ceremony a few months back so this was an epic re-do with each other with family and friends who traveled to celebrate with a fiesta vibe reception.
Contigo Ranch is one of those venues that feels like a hidden gem. Located just outside the charming town of Fredericksburg, it offers a beautiful blend of rustic elegance and natural beauty. The venue is known for its rolling hills, expansive oak trees, and warm, earthy tones that create the perfect vibe for both indoor and outdoor celebrations and of course there are plenty of longhorns that reside as permanent guests.
The couple said their vows atop a hill view, had a feet washing ceremony, had their aunt officiate, and their doggo as part of their wedding party. What else do you need for a wedding?
Well the reception had a Mariachi band, something called the dance of the turkey with a real turkey, and so many cool traditions for the guest to witness and participate in.
This Contigo Ranch wedding was a great way to end the wedding season and I’m so glad to have been a part of it.
