Bruentrup Farm otherwise known as Maplewood Museum was the site of the ever customized nuptials of Lizzie and Miles.
This wedding was a blend of traditional and non traditional elements. The couple themselves are the laid back, adventure loving, playful type that I yearn to photograph. The type of people who didnt care that the weather was 85 degrees or the wind was gusting 35mph on their wedding day because, why stress over it? It “is what it is” thus, it was what it was which ended up being an intimate and authentic wedding ceremony and reception.
The day started with the brides party people tending to her getting ready needs which included Taylor swift music therapy and impromptu dancing and singing to ease the wedding day nerves.
In a beautiful and private moment, the couple chose to see each other before the ceremony. There were no photos, just time for themselves to be present. When they rejoined their friends and family, they were all smiles and ready to soak in the rest of the day.
The outdoor ceremony took place under a white gazebo at Bruentrup Farm, officiated by a close friend. Lizzie’s radiant smile and infectious laugh, paired with their custom vows, made the moment truly theirs.
The celebration continued with a social, high-energy reception featuring choreographed ABBA songs, outdoor games, and incredible camaraderie. It was everything a wedding should be. It was heartfelt, fun, and totally Lizzie’s and Miles.
Cheers to the happy couple!
