The best way to embrace the snow and cold weather is to opt for a MN winter engagement adventure session and dive right in.

Winter is a fickle beast as many local Minnesotans are aware but sometimes we will get lucky we get the perfect setup for shooting a winter vibe.

Such was the day for Corrinne and Caelan. Fresh and fluffy snow covered the landscape, the sun was out to keep everyone warm, and the wind was finally taking a break.

We started our adventure at Silverwood Park so we could get some time with their two fur babies. Dogs are always little adorable spaz balls so letting them be wild and free to play in the snow is quite the sight.

(Checkout our blog on how to include your dogs in your engagement session)

After sniffing around and jaunting through the snow, the pups headed back home so we could focus our attention on the humans.

We then headed near Lindstrom and Cascade falls to really showcase how stunning winter can be.

The same elements that make winter so hard such as the snow, ice, and bleakness of the trees, can turn into a very beautiful sight.

These two were good sports about freezing their tails off and playing near the frozen waterfalls for some cool photos and playful moments.

Once we thawed ourselves out with some coffee, we headed to Taylors falls to catch a lovely overview and golden sunset.

Alas, we had to end the session with a snow fight because nothing says love better than full on attacking each other with snow.

Thanks so much to these two for getting me out of my warm and cozy home to embrace the Minnesota winter.
