The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum‘s Winter Lights is already magical; however to Joel and Morgan, it holds another level of awe. It’s where they had one of their first dates, fell in love, and where Joel proposed! So obviously we had to wander through the spectacle of lights and magic to showcase their romantic tradition with an Arboretum Engagement.

We actually did a semi-tour of their relationship beginnings starting with their first date at a local coffee shop. As the story goes, she didnt have any expectations for their first date because so many first dates are duds, however, after pouring her heart and brain out, Morgan realized this could be something worth while.

As the fairytale goes, the princess was glad she didnt let her cynicism lead her astray from the handsome prince and they fell in love etc.

Now they spend their time playing DND, loving on their fur babies and spending winter time reflecting about their beginnings and future among the holiday lights.

What a fantastic reason to have a Arboretum Engagement! Does it get more magical?
