Samantha and Eric decided to have and epic Wedding ceremony at home this last weekend and transformed their house into an epic venue!

The proposal in the couple’s own words:

“We knew we would be closing on our home in October and I thought he was going to propose on our 5 year anniversary. The evening of our closing, after a long day of gathering our “first night in the home” items, he poured me a glass of champagne and proposed, while we were both in pajamas. I was completely surprised, even though we had spent the summer designing the engagement ring, made with heirloom gold and gems given to Eric by his mother and grandmother.”

Thus, when it came to decide the venue for the wedding, they knew they wanted it to be in this house and home they were building on together. So for two years, Sam and Eric went to work making their house amazing and then taking it a step farther to make it into the perfect wedding venue to host their friends and family.

Sam’s lady of honor and previous bride our ours, gave a speech that really summed up the perfect sentiment. She touched on the house and how amazing it was and how all the effort paid off, but that ultimately, a home is comprised of family and friends. She said to look around at all of those who came to support Eric and Sam and declared that this was what a home was.

The love and joy surrounding the day was just as amazing as the foliage and colors that fall was showing off. We are so happy for the couple and their new chapter. Cheers to Eric and Sam!
