Last weekends Hewing wedding in the heart of downtown Minneapolis was relaxed and intimate and told the story of Christy and Ben wonderfully.
In the heart of down town Minneapolis the Hewing Hotel is a true gem steeped in history. Originally built in the late 1800s as a warehouse, the building’s rustic allure remains intact, blending seamlessly with contemporary design elements. The exposed brick walls, soaring ceilings, and wooden beams exude warmth and charm, creating an intimate atmosphere that made this wedding feel cozy and welcoming for family and friends.
Christy and Ben had told us they wanted their wedding to be family centric and to capture the love and joy of the day. They wanted candid moments and real emotions. Needless to say, we were super excited to do what we do best.
When you have such a sweet family like they did, its not even hard to capture authentic laughs and sweet interactions.
It was a sweet early morning brunch wedding in a quaint part of the Hewing where they read their vows, then a fun cocktail hour up on the roof area with amazing views and snacks. Afterward we just enjoyed taking a few snap shots of the couple looking amazing and enjoying their chance to call each other husband and wife.
We are so glad we got to document these two sweethearts at their Hewing Wedding and wish them luck as they continue on this epic journey. Cheers to them both!
