Last weeks Green Acres Fall wedding was filled with sweet moments and warm smiles from Jessica and Seans family and friends.
It’s no secret that Earl and I love a first look. We wrote a whole blog about it. (Check it out) The best part about a first look is that you have the opportunity to have a sweet and intimate moment with each other before the craziness of the day sets in. Another bonus, is if you and your partner want to exchange vows during the first look, it’s the prefect time for it! So, this is exactly what Jessica and Sean did.
They both knew reading their words out loud to each other would be difficult enough to get through without an abundance of tears. So, outside nearby the Green Acres barn, there is a little path hidden by trees that they snuck off to and read each other their kind words and vows.
After they let their words and tears flow, the couple wandered back to the venue to exchange rings and make things official. They had not one, but two friends officiate for them!
The wedding day was filled with moments that I remember fondly and had the honor of documenting.
For instance, when her bubbie snuck a moment with her in the silo and told her about the time her and her husband were in a fight and while he was using the silent treatment, she countered with the un-silient treatment until she wore him down and they talked it out. Sound advice from a wise woman.
When Sean’s coat jacket was popping off, his dad took the job and sewed it back on for him.
Or when I caught Jess’s and her mom, just hanging out on the couch catching their breath before the ceremony.
All of these moments and more were interwoven and created the day for these two sweethearts. I’m so glad they found one another and get to continue their journey together.
Cheers to Jessica and Sean!
