Last week’s journey into southwest Wisconsin for the Chapters on the horizon wedding started with sunshine and ended with stars.

Star magic is what brought Sherry and Mike together. According to Sherry, “We met in astronomy class 11 years ago, in college. Mike chose the astronomy class for one of his electives and I was put into the astronomy class by accident because I had a counselor that didn’t know what she was doing. Of course, on the first day I was running late and by the time I got there the teacher was already going over the syllabus, I walked in and there was literally only one seat left and that last seat was next to, yep you guessed it, Mike.”

You hate to be corny, but you have to say it, their romance was written in the stars!

These two have a chemistry that fills up a room and jovial smiles that go with it. Their family and friends they surround themselves with are just as laid back and friendly as they are.

The wedding itself was planned with purposeful detail and care by the couple. Mike wore a red suit, and Sherry wore a dress that looked like a million diamonds! There was pomp and circumstance throughout but mainly they was just absolute joy and I was enjoying every minute of it.

And of course, we even had the chance to sneak out at night so they could cuddle under the night sky and thank their lucky stars (See what I did there?) for the cosmos and happen chance meetings.
