Jennifer and Sean’s Allan House Wedding
Today, I’m sharing Jennifer and Sean’s Allan House wedding story! This was a really touching wedding to shoot – you can tell how much the bride and groom love each other (it jumps right off the page in some of these photos!), and the gorgeous Allan House was a perfect backdrop to capture the really special moments.
Enjoy!
The Allan House
Located in Downtown Austin, this Victorian mansion and courtyard is such a lovely place to shoot. The flexibility of having access to the courtyard for your ceremony allows you to enjoy a gorgeous day!
From their website: Using only the inside, we can accommodate wedding ceremonies of up to 65 guests and seated dinners of 50, depending on your seating style. Using the courtyard and garden area, as most brides and grooms choose to do, we can accommodate ceremonies and seated dinners for up to 225 guests.
Look at this dress! The details, the lighter than air skirt, the fabric – and the hanger even reads Mrs. Barry!
There is something extra special about that brief moment when all the bridesmaids and family come together to help the bride into her dress.
The beautiful bridesmaids and the lovely bride right before the ceremony – the pop of color really stands out against the Victorian detail of the Allan House.
It was a warm day in June, and the lovely Miss Jennifer is staying hydrated and relaxed!
This is a lovely detail followed by a beautiful moment that I was honored to capture! The handkerchief is a gift from the bride to her mother with a personal note stitched across it.
Here comes the bride!
This picture, y’all – one of my favorites from their whole day! Sean sees Jennifer for the very first time coming down the aisle.
A sun-washed ceremony under the trees for this Allan House wedding!
Kiss the bride!
Here’s the new Mr. and Mrs. Barry sharing a quick moment together after all the jitters from the ceremony ☺
Then it was time to have a little photography fun! (Pro tip: In all my timelines I make sure to schedule multiple little photo breaks for the couple.)
One of the perks of being a wedding photographer – doubling as a cake taste-tester! Not a single cake has failed me yet.
Jennifer and Sean had their first dance in the open air, and look at that face! I told you that their love would jump right off the page at you!
A skirt meant for a twirl!
The couple is hitched, the cake is cut, it’s time for the party pictures ☺
And then we sneak back to the Barrys for a sweet end-of-the-night moment.
A bubbly send off!
Veil-free and waving from their carriage while the bubbles rain down! Congratulations to the happy pair.
I hope you enjoyed this peak into Jennifer and Sean’s Allan House wedding!
