North shore engagement photos starting from Black beach and ending with the classic Gooseberry falls was the perfect combo for Stephanie and Alex.

Their first date was at Black beach in Silver bay, Minnesota along the north shore so it was a perfect opportunity to capture some cute moments and great photos for their engagement.

The sun was bright but we had the beach to ourselves. Stephanie brought an abundance of energy and wonderment as she searched for rocks and found joy in climbing around the cliffs while Cameron made sure to give her piggy-back rides and strong hugs.

I had the opportunity to climb into the lake and embrace the icy cold waters of Lake Superior to grab some good moments of cuddles from the couple on the shore. It never surprises me that I forget to bring a towel for myself even though I know for a fact, if I’m near the water, I’m getting in!

After we embraced our inner mermaids, we headed back south to top off the North shore engagement photos with a little peek at Gooseberry falls since Alex had never seen them.

There is no lack of beauty along the North Shore and around Lake superior and I’m so glad I got to capture some epic pictures and cute moments with these two.
