Meet Karen and Ryan – an outdoor enthusiast power couple who both love archery! When it came time to propose, Ryan popped the question in the middle of the woods – where they spend so much of their time together. So it only made sense for these two bow hunters to have an outdoor archery engagement!

During their adventure, we focused on telling the story of their love, what we here at Penny Photographics believe is the goal of engagement photography! For Karen and Ryan, this meant focusing on natural settings and environments, bringing in elements of their hunting passion, and letting them be them! It made a lovely walk in the woods 🙂

Their whole adventure was just one fun moment after another, which made it so easy to capture their personalities and tell their story as a couple! I asked if they gave piggy back rides, and no sooner had they answered yes, than Ryan instantly hopped on Karen’s back.
