There’s nothing like the emotional high of documenting a surprise proposal. The emotions are so palpable they just rub off onto you and leave you beaming almost as much as the couple themselves!

The goal was simple, David was going to pop the question outside of the first date spot of the St. Anthony Main Theater in Minneapolis. When I saw the lovely couple walk by and the dapper-looking guy starts to linger, I knew it was time. Down went the knee, and up went the camera to document the adorable moment. 

Emily had no idea and just kept asking if this was seriously happening all the while passer-byes were hooting and hollering and throwing congratulations around.

From that moment, we wandered around and caught some amazing portraits of downtown St Anthony Main with the awesome skyline and scenery all the while documenting the pure giddiness of the two newly engaged.
