Misty and Nate’s Mystic lake engagement session was bonkers cool! When we asked these two what they like to do for fun as we were planning their adventure session, they responded with EVERYTHING! These two and their kiddo like dirt-biking, boating, traveling, and generally just being their bad-ass selves.

When Misty and Nate aren’t kicking ass and taking names, they are keeping their myriad of pets alive; including dogs, cats, fish, birds, lizards, chickens etc. They are concert goers, geocachers, and rv’ers. So when you have an epic lifestyle such as they do, it was hard to narrow down how to tell their story in just one day. However, I think we did a fantastic job telling the story of this family and their lust for life via some cool photos.

We started off with showcasing some dirt biking skills and playing with smoke bombs for some cool aesthetics and textures. During the dirt biking portion of adventure Misty and Nate’s son gave us some dirt bike lessons and showed off his abilities as well, just proving that a family that rides together stays together.

Then we hopped onto our next form of transportation and went onto Mystic lake to capture the essence of Misty and Nate’s love of fishing and family. Their family boat was gorgeously decorated by Indulge and bloom and the weather was warm and friendly.

But wait. there’s more! Misty had mentioned her love of night time photos we’ve taken, so we hung around, popped some Champagne and waited for the night sky to finish up a very epic adventure for this Mystic lake engagement.

If ever there was family with a lust for life, it’s these guys! Cheers to such an amazingly fun family.
