Last week’s wedding could be referred to as a Semple mansion winter wedding, a Pi Day (3.14) celebration, or even a full on Minneapolis blizzard wedding. But more than anything, it was the day Kassie and Kyle stood front and center, owned the moment, and did the damn thing.

The fact that the March blizzard of 2026 came during their ceremony didnt really bother Kassie or Kyle, which makes sense considering they got engaged during a five degree walk around the park by the Mississippi river. Who could possibly be bothered by a thing like weather when the best of your friends and family are gathered and sharing in the reminiscing and joy of the day.
The venue couldn’t have been more fitting. The Semple Mansion brought all the elegance and fairytale charm you could hope for, and the snowfall outside only added to the atmosphere, turning the entire day into something that felt a little surreal and completely magical.
Kassie and Kyle kept everything simple and stress free. A quick first look on the grand staircase, family photos in the parlor, a ceremony framed by falling snow, and then dinner and dancing in the ballroom above it all unfolded effortlessly, just the way they wanted. And at the end of the evening, they even braved the cold to go show off and dance among the falling snow.
