Rainy weather can’t dampen real happiness and these two prove it! It was a rainy and gloomy day for an intimate outside wedding in Minnesota – but that didn’t stop Analee and Lorenze, who turned their big day into a bright wedding with umbrellas!

Analee and Lorenze were to be married outside at their family cabin on the lake with just a few close friends and family. However, the weather was acting ridiculous! I’m talking storm advisories, big dark clouds, and a crazy rainstorm brewing!

The rain came to a dull sprinkle for just a moment (the calm before the bigger storm!) which was long enough for everyone to grab an umbrella, run outside, and watch this amazing couple say their vows. It made for a beautiful play of color and light in this lovely wedding with umbrellas!

The whole ceremony was officiated by Analee’s mom! Now THAT is an intimate wedding!

It’s a good thing this was a wedding with umbrellas because after the ring exchange, the rain started to come down a lot harder! Once the couple kissed for the first time as husband and wife, the downpour really hit. Analee and Lorenze sprinted towards the cabin along with everyone else trying to dodge the rain!

 

The saying that it is good luck for it to rain on your wedding day means a great deal more if you embrace the rain and realize that terrible weather or perfect weather, you get to marry your best friend and that’s really all that matters.
