We here are Penny Photographics are huge dog-lovers! In fact, we have three of our own 🙂 So when Tessa and Chris shared that they wanted to do their Arboretum Engagement with dogs, we were so excited! Their two adorable pups are Moose and Pixie, great in front of the camera and to make it extra interesting – Moose is, well, moose-sized, and Pixie is pixie-sized! We loved getting to include them in Tessa and Chris’s engagement story, and getting to capture their love at the beautiful Arboretum 🙂

The Arboretum is one of the prettiest and most interesting spots in the greater Twin Cities. It boasts 1,200 acres of different gardens, tree collections, local ecosystems, and trail systems, plus some interesting sculptures – offering tons of amazing photo opportunities plus the option just to stroll and take it all in before or after your photo shoot! Plus, it’s only a half an hour outside of the Twin Cities in Northfield, MN.

It was the perfect spot to document Tessa and Chris’s love and their lovely Arboretum engagement with dogs!

But honestly, who is a cuter match: Moose and Pixie or Chris and Tessa? 😀

After the family shots, a friend of the family took care of the pups while we got some super sweet photos of Tessa and Chris.

They didn’t hesitate to the explore the expansive natural surroundings of the Arboretum.
